If you believe your content was removed by mistake, you may submit a counter-notification.

3.1 Required Information

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3), your counter-notification must include:

  • Good faith statement - You have a good faith belief that the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification, under penalty of perjury.
  • Consent to jurisdiction - You consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for your address. If outside the US, for any judicial district in which you may be found.
  • Your contact information - Name, mailing address, telephone number, email address.

4.1 After Receiving a DMCA Notice

  • We review the notice for DMCA compliance
  • If compliant, we remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content
  • We notify the content uploader and provide a copy of the DMCA notice
  • We record the removal

4.2 After Receiving a Counter-Notification

  • We review the counter-notification for compliance
  • If compliant, we restore the content within 10-14 business days
  • We notify the complainant and provide a copy of the counter-notification
  • Unless we receive a court order, the content will be restored

4.3 Repeat Infringers

Per DMCA requirements, we may terminate accounts of repeat infringers.
